About Data Equity LLC

Founder of Data Equity, Steve Stockstill has been designing and developing commercial software products for nearly two decades. In the mid-nineties, he launched a part-time software development company while, he was employed as a Software Engineer in Silicon Valley. That part-time development enterprise has evolved to become Data Equity LLC, headquartered in the heart of North Carolina's Research Triangle Park.
 
In 1996, Steve released his first commercial product, Query Wizard, for Clarion; followed by the development of a full suite of products that enabled developers to build intuitive user experiences that maximized the intelligence locked inside their clients' data. These products — Query Wizard, View Wizard, Report Wizard, Spreadsheet Wizard, CrossTab Wizard, and Graph Wizard — are still being used in thousands of software applications around the world.

Steve has discovered over the years, a growing disconnect between users and software applications. Users often struggled to capture and interpret data in a meaningful way. This discovery inspired Steve to invent fresh, real-world solutions that harmonize the human user experience with the power of modern technology. Most recently, Data Equity has become known for developing state-of-the-art add-ons for Time Matters and other practice management applications. Steve's pioneer connection to Time Matters uniquely positions him to provide practice management and custom software solutions for Time Matters consultants and IT professionals.
